soooo tired...
I think I'm turning into our blog goddess... at least for one night! I woke up at 12 something, 1 something and jumped out of bed at 2:23am, certain that I was going to be sick to my stomach. I'm glad to say I wasn't but I spent the next hour debating ..yes or no. Around 3:30am I decided it was time to try and go back to sleep..key word being "try". I actually did, for 20 whole minutes and was back up by 4:15am. Sighhh, can you guess how very tired I am today. When work is done I will drive straight home and stay there, protecting myself and the rest of the world!
And, btw, where were you all at 3am when I was finally awful and looking for company?? Used to be you could find someone in Canadas40+ at any time of day or night!! I was darn skippy lonely! :P
February has been an interesting month. Lots of up and downs but it seems to be settling down to a dull roar so that the mega birthday month of March can come roaring in! We will celebrate family members that have birthdays on the 10th (brothers 50th), 14th, 15th, 17th, 21st, 24th and 28th...and that's NOT including friends! I've decided that when my daughters/nieces/grandkids have kids are ready to be parents, they will all be celebate in the month of June! We need to fill in other months of the year! laughing..
Friday, February 23rd, John Olsen passed away. He was a young man, late 50's, and lung cancer claimed his life. (subtle hint to my friends that still smoke) I met John and Sue online about 12 years ago and we connected like we'd known each other all of our lives. For those of you that remember me celebrating my50th in New England, they were my first stop. Again, it was like we'd always known each other. John was a generous, loving, kind man and I'm so grateful that I got to meet him in person and to share space and time with him and his family. God bless Sue and her family as they move into the next chapter of their lives, wishing them comfort and peace sprinkled liberally with good memories.
God bless and keep you all safe and well...
