only 4 days, not bad...

I thought I would not allow another 3 weeks to go by, even if I don't have much to type about. The blog goddess and her trainees could make my life miserable and I am NOT in the mood for anything to bring me down from this nice little high I'm on. In fact, would rather bring you all up here with me, the view is lovely! :-)

June gloom, which helps keep the temperatures cooler, departed before June was even over and the warm weather has settled right in! I'm hoping it's just a fluke and we get cooler (80's) weather for a while longer. Summer in So. California is not my favorite time and seems to go on forever!

I have a new project in front of me and need encouragement and motivation! Anyone have any extra lying around they want to share with me?? Or, you could just come and help! More hands make less work, for me, that is. :-)

I would like to start by wishing all the men in my life a Happy Fathers Day. I hope you are spending it doing things you enjoy with those you love. Thank you for being wonderful dads, friends, husbands, role models.. in my life for being supportive, encouraging, helpful. You are am important part of our lives!

This has been a fun weekend...mostly me time .. not too much work involved. Dancing both nights, the first night being ummmmmm... fabulous! The second night..good. Nice to be out with friends and just relax and have fun. Had one small photo job late this afternoon, head shots for my actor friend. I was able to get them developed right away and he was happy! Woohoo :-) I'm so blessed to keep having these jobs come my way!

I took a roll of pictures of my daughters last week in a local canyon that we used to go to all the time when they were small. This is the one we/I liked best that we blew up, matted and framed for their dad for Fathers Day. I hear it was a hit. :-) Guess the ex can't get rid of me one way or the other! Now he's even got my photography hanging in his house. *grin*

Two days in a row!

I wasn't going to, but todays verdict has earned a small space on my blog. My response... I think the jury chickened out..just could not bring themselves to find the "other" king guilty. I'm disappointed, I think he was guilty of at least some of those charges, if not all. I'd be interested in hearing from others as to their opinion.
Enough said.

Sorry Dini.. I had every intention to talk about my fella's but the rest of last week just took over and as you can see, it just didn't happen. The little fella ready to knock that ball to the next state is the little love of my life, Jared, who will be 5 this summer. Grandma LOVED watching him and his little teamates play and I can see that we will have lots of games to attend in the future! He definitely takes after his dad, the other part of my favorite fella's, and his auntie, on the playing field! Dad, my "baby" ..hehe...is a fabulous coach of ten ? five year olds.. shouting out encouraging words, running with them around the bases, and just making each one of them feel special. I am SO blessed!

My panic attack is over..lol...as the wedding pictures I took came out fine. Yeah, yeah, I know... I tell you, I know why photographers get paid the big bucks! Attaching on of yesterdays pics...

gee, this place seems sort of familiar ;-)

*Looks around to see if things have changed* Geez, you'd think someone could have at least stopped by and dusted while I was otherwise occupied!

No excuses for my absence ... you wouldn't buy them anyway..lol..could use the extra money though! Actually, since I last typed, I've sold about 6 enlargements and have some interest in a couple of others. I'm hoping to get my cards in a couple of shops this week too.

Today I shot my gf's daughters wedding and reception..all in all about 7 hours...I'm done....make that overdone! I think my icepack will be keeping me company til I head to bed, which I'm thinking, will be sooner than later!! The wedding was lovely, food fabulous, and everyone looked beautiful. Now we just have to get pictures that turn out beautifully! :)

Okay...sooner came even quicker than I thought..can't hold eyes open anymore... g'nite and God Bless ...
