I believe I have a twin!!

TWINK!!!!!!!! Girl, are you sure we weren't separated at birth??? Cuz everything you are, I am...lol...or is that in reverse, being that I am ever so slightly more mature than you are..lol

Here I am:

HERA, the Goddess of Devotion.

She's a deity who demands total worship from her partner, and will go to great lengths to achieve the admiration she desires. You probably place a lot of value on monogamy and exclusivity, and you give yourself completely to your man. With so much devotion, you guarantee his satisfaction in all facets of your relationship. You feel most comfortable when there's an intimate connection between you and your partner. When you feel that security, you abandon your sexual inhibitions and set your divine powers loose. You are a profound and passionate lover who believes that great sex means more than just a union of your bodies. To feel truly free, you believe that your heart and mind must be a part of the experience. When that total involvement finally happens, it's like a light drops down from heaven. Behold, the skies proclaim, here lies a goddess!

Had the pleasure of sharing 10 whole minutes of actual conversation tonite with Rick!!!! I'm still in shock! Thanks, hon...enjoyed every second of it! ;-) And BONUS...got LOTS of minutes with Dini! I am one lucky ducky!!

To update you on my boss...the news is the better of the two things it could have been, but now he needs continued prayer that the treatments will work! Thank you EVERYONE for your prayers and good thoughts.. I do believe in the power of both! :-)

Pics went up in the restaurant today...wow...looks weird to see them up on the wall and to know folks will see them everyday/evening for the next month! Woohooo... I am blessed! Thank you all again for your encouragement and support... it helped me to be able to take this next step!

Bedtime ...stay safe and well...

test results....

And no, not my boss's yet, so please continue with your thoughts and prayers. Trying to get caught up on the tests Dini and Pat have been doing so I know who I am... now I'm just more confused..lol

Here is the result from the British Totem:

Your native British totem animal is:

Wildcat - The wildcat is fiercely independent and has no master but herself. She has probably found a kindred spirit in you, for she will generally show no interest in anyone but her own kind.
It is impossible to domesticate the wildcat, even when reared from a young kitten.
Together you tread grounds old and new, and chase adventure as only the wildcat can. She will be there to dare you on to enterprises that you may not have thought yourself capable of without her.

Now .. from "What Kind of Dog are you?"

Cocker Spaniel No bones about it, you're a perky, loving Cocker Spaniel. (Think Lady from Lady and the Tramp.) Playful and energetic, you're a real people person — er, dog. People can't help but fall hook, line, and sinker for your friendly, well-rounded personality and natural charm. It's a subtle thing, though — being outgoing and flirtatious, not showy, is the name of your game. Friends, co-workers, and potential dates can't help liking you. How could they not? Your winning-yet-humble ways make you popular, admired, and a joy to be around. Woof!

I'm not sure ... am I one, or a combination of both? I look forward to your kind comments!

I have 4 of my photo's totally ready .. picking up rest of mat's today and hoping I will be done by tomorrow evening, this evening if I'm really motivated. I've been asked to do some cards in with "holiday" themes .. *adds to list* lol

Happy day all... hugz... stay safe and well! O:-)

been guilt tripped!

I didn't know "guilt trip giver" was included in definition of an Empress but whatever she does, she does it well, even THAT! Happy now, bratgirl????? :P

Not much to say...been crazy busy, but won't bore you ...actually, it's just more of the same anyways..lol. Today was my grandson's 5th birthday and I have added a couple of pictures from the party. He's absolutely toooooooooooo cute and loved every gift and thanked each person..pretty darn good for a little guy!

Took some "me" time the last couple of days as I was really ready for it. Funky full moon this time...lots happening around it and glad to see it going away! Asking all who read to keep good thoughts for my boss, not sure exactly wants going on (health), but from what I understand, it's serious.

Have a great week...will do my best to add a few words here this week!

stay safe and well... hugz O:-)

good sunday morning! :-)

Seems we've sent our hot weather to BC..I'd like to say I'm sorry, but I just can't! lol This is day number three of overcast mornings, keeping our temperatures around 75 in the first part of the day, and then maybe reaching 90 later in the afternoon. It's amazing what that will do for ones attitude, it keeps us from having one! It's only mid August, so I know there will be more heat to come, but this lovely respite will keep us from being homicidal/sucidial for a bit longer! ;-)

I'm almost better and am thankful for that too. I loved all the creative comments about my voice, or lack thereof, and NO, I didn't make a dime on it...lol Actually, I didn't think of trying til it was too late. Have not been faithful about taking my antibiotics *ducking* but getting right back on them!

Still smiling about Pat and Bryan's wonderful wedding and how good it was to be with ALL of my friends .. including Dave and Bobbi and Bob, whom I have missed seeing the last 3 years! I still think a gtg in California would be just wonderful! Please let me know when you're available! (hmm, wonder when h*** will freeze over? lol)

Starting to stress a little over the upcoming photography show. So much to do, not enough time, and not one of you offered to come help. *sigh* Turns out she wants to hang my photo's by the end of the month, and have the reception next month when I get back from vacation. Invites got done yesterday and will hopefully be in the mail by next weekend. Off to Aaron Brothers in a little while to buy the rest of the frames and matting I will need to finish. Oh well, I have faith it will get done!

Okay, time to finish housework and head out to run errands.. have a fabulous week! Stay safe and well!

need a nurse... or maybe just TLC....

Okay, okay... I've been ragged on enough about not posting this week! *cough, cough* Anyone have any throat lozengers??? I didn't shop in BC last weekend but it seems I brought home a souveneir anyways, a lovely sore throat that has been keeping me company since Thursday morning and which has left me with not much of a voice.. should prove interesting for work this week..haha.

Not much new since last Sunday. I've enjoyed perusing Twinks many wedding photos and smiling as I remember the day and night.. sigh...just lovely! I think the wedding will be a topic of conversation for a while! That and GWN's saga with the Porsche that has not yet made it to Winnipeg!

I'm getting into preparation mode for next months show at the restaurant. The invite is in process, I've been a scanning fiend to get pics on the upcoming website, I'm getting cards and matted photos ready for sale, the photo's for the walls (10-12 enlargements) and ...hmmm, I'm sure there is something else on my list..lol.
In between I must get the scrapbook ready for a gift to be given in the near future.
Help wanted...no pay, but I'll be forever grateful! ;-)

Congratulations again to Brad and Lisa their big news!! So very excited for you!!

Can't think anymore...time for rest... stay safe and well and have a GREAT week!

the M.O.H and brides #1 son  Posted by Picasa

A beautiful wedding....

A radiant bride, a handsome groom, a beautiful setting on a perfect day. Surrounded by family and friends, Pat and Bryan became husband and wife amidst smiles and tears of joy, theirs and ours! Thank you both for inviting me to be part of this special occasion, the wedding and the days leading up to it! :-) ....and for having a dressed up gtg..hehe Pat, I echo Dini's sentiments (thanks gf...less typing for me..hehe) ... you deserve the best and I'm glad Bryan recognized you as his "one". Happy forever after!

The lodge looked wonderful, thanks to the decorators (TLC eat your heart out), the food was excellent, the wine flowed, the music (put together by our resident DJ Jazzy Dini) was great.. music for all the "reasons". We had a great time dancing til the wee hours and were able to put the lodge back in order in a short amount of time.

It was wonderful to see everyone again... those I saw recently (dini, rick, sharon, & bruce) and those that I have not seen in 3 years ! (you don't look a day older, everyone just looks better!) The bonus was to finally meet Chenny! Girl, you're just as you are online...beautiful, funny and great to be around!

Not much else new to catch you all up on as last week was lots of work to get ready for trip. Oh, one piece of news.. save September 23rd...that's the opening of my "art show" at the restaurant in Pasadena... see you all there???? hehe

stay safe and well... hugz
