q & a's....

Who is/was the most influential person in your life, and why? That would be 2 people.. my godparents in Cananda. Why? They created a foundation that provided

Your favourite toy as a child? My weeping willow tea set..wish I knew where it went

Your favourite toy as an adult? Mya camera!

Who was your first crush? You don't have to name names. Peter..I was 12, he was 18

Remember back to the first time you had sex. Was it all you hoped it would be? (sex with yourself doesn't count) That would be a NO.

Do you still know that person? Yes

Can you name all six Brady kids? In order? No cheating! Greg, Marsha,

Have you ever wanted somebody you couldn't have? Celebrities don't count! You bet!

Did/does that person know? Yup

Has somebody ever wanted but couldn't have you? Yes

How many serious relationships have you had? Need a better description of "serious"

Which one is best for you, marriage or common-law? Marriage :-)

From a list of your friends, pick a quality from each that you wish you had ... quick wit, unconditional, self confidence, creativity .. I think I possess some of each of those...but not as much as they have :-)

If I could start my life over again, I would… (finish the sentence) probably do most of the same things because I wouldn't have the life experience and knowledge I do now...

Will you a hire a hit man to "off" the person who sent this to you? laughing...no way, much more fun to make her miserable myself...

blogless....cough..hack...

Okay...I'm feeling badly that here I have all this time, cuz I'm sick, and still no blog..lol. So, a short one to keep the goddesses at bay and not wear myself out..hehe.

Wow...this came at me quickly...literally in a few hours. Started out clearing my throat all day, which in itself was annoying, and within 2 hours that evening my throat was pretty darn sore and my cough began. My voice ranges from almost none to crackly to low n sexy...lol. My daughter is having a wonderful time laughing at her mom...just wait til her turn comes! I haven't been able to work cuz the bosses immune system is still almost non-existent but that should start improving shortly.

Which brings me to an update on his cancer.. as of January 11th, after 6 chemotherapy treatments, he has been declared cancer free! Thank you, God!! And thanks to those of you that have kept him in your prayers and thoughts. He will be completing all 8 treatments as he has tolerated them so well and as a preventative measure. I will let you know if there is any more news.

That's it...out of energy...stay safe and well..

Day 3 .. a month later....

Hmmmm, now where was I when last we were trekking through my memories??? Oh yeah... day 3, of which I shared a snippet on my last vacation blog.

Lahaina truly is a lovely little town, with most of its shops and restaurants on the water..from 10 ft to 50 ft. away from the multicolored ocean. Everything is open air.. windows, doors...very few places used A/C but even the ones that did still had everything open..lol. Price wise the shops were pretty reasonable. As in every town, especially a tourist one, you'll find the ones that you can't even afford to look into...we looked anyways! :-)

For those of you that know me and my photography, you KNOW I don't like to wait to get home ..lol...so, first stop on what we thought would be a short shopping trip, was to drop off the first 4 rolls of film. Yeah, yeah...I know..haha. I was not sorry that I did! Lunch found us back at Cheeseburger in Paradise where we had yet another fabulous meal seated at a window with the water pounding on the sand right below us. The treasure that we found that day was my girlfriends wedding dress in this absolutely fabulous shop. It fit her perfectly and she will be wearing it for her wedding, next Wednesday, January 18th. I will be attending and photographing the wedding. :-)

Oopps...back to Maui. After a "short" 3 hour shopping trip..lol we headed to the south end of the island to find Nakalele Point to find the blowhole. The whole area, not just the blowhole, was an interesting experience. As we exited our car we saw stacks of rocks wherever we looked...not piles of messy rocks...but stacked, creating a work of art...and on the top of one of the hills, a cross. As we approached the edge we could see down to the blowhole. Sadly we didn't get to experience it in it's magnificence as the waters were relatively, key word..lol, quiet. Regardless, it was a beautiful area and we were glad we didn't miss it. On the way back we stopped to watch the surf competition at Honolua Bay, but like at the blowhole, there wasn't much competing going on because there weren't many or good waves...lol. The rest of the drive back was done along the coast where we could see how much like Los Angeles it could be...from one block to another... homes like mansions to homes barely standing up. I guess it doesn't matter where you live... poverty and wealth live right next door to each other.

We headed home after a long day out, unpacked all our goodies, admiring them yet once again, took a rest/nap and enjoyed watching the sun go down. Later we headed back into Lahaina to pick up the enlargments I had ordered, dropped off more film..lol and headed to Bubba Gumps for dinner. It was loud, busy and I was not impressed, but at least I can say I did it!

As in prior evenings, we came home and enjoyed some time on the lanai listening to the waves and looking at the blanket of stars in the sky.

Well, enough for now... come back again, eh? hehe

stay safe and well ...hugz.... O:-)

WHINERS!!

This blog, as short as it will be, is addressed to my WHINING friends that won't give up if I don't type something here!!!

Lemme see... not much new...playing catch up at both jobs since I had short weeks at the 1st job and didn't make it into the 2nd one but a couple of times. Also getting caught up in the after holiday shuffle of finding room for the things that came in by decluttering and moving old stuff out. Nice thing is, when it's all said and done, you've created a new space/place.

Rain has moved on and the last two days, especially today have been beautiful...back up into the mid 70's! Sorry to see the 53 year spell broken on the Rose Parade...guess we get to start at one again!!

Okay...bedtime... I WILL BE BACK, ya brats...

stay safe and well..
