catching up...

Wow, didn't realize it's been 3 weeks since I've been on here! I've been playing around in Facebook, (www.facebook.com) , a website where you can keep in touch with friends, post pictures, leave messages... and it's all free, so far, and doesn't require any downloading! (yippee for me..haha)

Not much is new the last few weeks. I've done little sidetrips to take more photo's for my upcoming gallery showing, the library showing and a weekend showing at a store with my girlfriend who is a very talented, multi faceted artist! (you can view some of her work at www.ssp-art.com .. she's Maryann Rachford)

I have some possible sales coming up from my posted "albums" on facebook and one friend left me an encouraging message asking when I was going to do this for a living. I am honored that she thinks that much of my photos. I am honored and humbled by the support and encouragement from all of my family and friends....big hugz to everyone!

In general, all is well in my world. Ups and downs, normal life. :-) Hoping this finds everything good on yours also.

I will continue to post here for those of you that aren't on Facebook (you could join, you know? :) ) but probably only every couple of weeks or so.

Another pictoral of the last couple of weeks in my life.

Wild Animal Park was a family day wtih Amanda, the grandkids (12& 7) and the youngest goddaughter (4). I've forgotten what's it's like to take more than one youngn out for the day..laughing... geez, how did I do it when I had 3 of my own??

Middle of the week found us at dinner to celebrate Moms bithday. A good meal, a good time together, and the opportunity to share yet another birthday!! :-)

Last but not least, the Rennaissance Pleasure Faire. Always entertaining, always ummm... a feast for the eyes? Way too pricey anymore...thank goodness I found a 2 for 1 coupon. General admission is $25. and parking is $7. Almost $60 just to walk in the door!!
